Client Overview
Collaborating with the private sector and government partners, The client is the government office charged with facilitating Dubai’s citywide smart transformation, to empower, deliver and promote an efficient, seamless, safe, and impactful city experience for residents and visitors.
Problem Statement
To test a prototype created by the client team to better engage the audience in the process.
To test the website for any UI discontinuities, functional errors, and grammatical mistakes, any errors might hinder user experience.
To go through the technical documentation shared by the client to understand each module.
Tech Stack
Solution Approach
Prepared a scope for the application flow, included names of all submodules and their respective links for easy navigation during testing.
Tested the application across different browsers and operating systems to check the application compatibility.
Provided a unique ID to each bug for easy identification and reference.
Linked each bug to a screenshot to avoid confusion about the location and details of the bug.
Executed and documented a GUI test to ensure smooth working of the overall application flow.
Interacted with the client daily to resolve any doubts or blockers that occurred while testing.

Critical bugs like UI break, errors in search functionality, and subscription forms were detected.
Detection text misalignment, missing images/icons, navigation, and half-loaded images helped the client to ensure a smooth user experience.
